Actually it had been lying there for ages. probably since march. And no one would take it home. Why? one of the woofer is 'faulty' aka broken~ * but a closer examination, i found out the cause was the woofer's spider bracket came off - possibly due to excessive 'booming' nothing not fixable here ^.^~~So i offer my fello seng, a price he would go mad for the subwoofer(2X-orion XTR3)+amp (boyds300)+box (^^,) but he'd let it go at the end :P lol~ who would buy a piece of broken sub woofer??!!
After some patience patch job, the xtr3 was up and running again ^.^ and it work fine~ clean and solid bass start pumping out of the box.

The answer is YES. i need the extra weight to put mango's rear speed down on the pavement. and it was perfectly heavy~ hohoho~
p.s. - 37KG in exec. It's a darn 1.2inche thick HDF board afterall lol~

37 kilos is massive for a pair of subs!
But heck, I love how this project is shaping up. Streetable, and trackable with matching tunes to boot!
I hope Silver will grow up to be like Mango some day.
the sub is not that heavy scav. the box is ^.^ ~ gaga~
your silver is a in lot better shape and build than mango bro~ diff time frame and design~ ;) silver already had a very good chassis and suspension design coming out of the box already~
But the effort and work that went into Mango, Silver will never see.
However much I wish to.
I wanna touge with Mango soon. Everyone's progressed so far these past few months, in terms of skill and build.
Scav~ It's a different story. Mango is an old school legacy (for me) it's worth the effort and time to restore him to his glory pass.
You also had putting down a lot of time and tyres on silver to perfect him for the touge of TB~ just it wasn't shown on everyone's eye (^^,) ~
let's keep up the work on our rides to make it better for us ^^~ cheers~
